The account recorded in Daniel 6 is legendary, even among non-believers. There we read about a man of unwavering faith being cast into a den of lions. Yet, he was not eaten because his God was with him. Our faith is greatly encouraged by such men who risked it all because of their conviction. Men who chose death over life, courage and conviction over compromise and convenience. We see in them how to face life with humility and devotion.
