God once destroyed nearly all life on earth — and He told us why. In this study of Genesis 6-8, we walk through the biblical account of the great flood, from the rampant wickedness that provoked God's judgment to the grace Noah found through his obedience and faith. Along the way, this lesson examines extra-biblical evidence for the flood — from geology and fossil records to ancient flood accounts found in cultures around the world, including Babylonian, Hawaiian, and Chinese traditions. Most importantly, this study draws the parallel that Scripture itself draws: the same God who judged the world by water has promised a future judgment by fire, and the time to prepare is now.
