This lesson is a study of Revelation 4 & 5 where John is shown God sitting on His throne and the Lamb who was worthy to open the scroll. These chapters were written to encourage saints of the first century as they faced persecution: God was still in power and His plan was still unfolding. As we face chaotic and evil times we can rest assured that the same God who ruled thousands of years ago, still rules today.
