Members of One Another (3): Like-minded (part 2)

What was tearing the church at Corinth apart — and what does it teach us today? In this lesson, we dig into 1 Corinthians 1–4 to examine the divisions that plagued the Corinthian church and what Paul prescribed as the remedy. From choosing favorite preachers to importing worldly philosophies, the Corinthians were treating Christianity like a Greek school of thought rather than a message from God to be believed. Paul reminded them that true unity isn't built on personalities, eloquence, or human wisdom — it's built on one foundation: Christ crucified. We explore the proper role of preachers as servants and stewards rather than party leaders, why God's "foolishness" surpasses the greatest wisdom of men, and what it looks like to guard the unity of a local congregation. If we want to be like-minded toward one another, it starts with keeping Christ as Lord, relying on His word, and approaching each other with humility, patience, and love.
