This sermon looks a the Bible’s teaching on lies. It was the “first sin” in Genesis, when Satan told a lie to Eve to lure her to violate God’s will. That is why the devil is the “father of lies” (John 8:44). Of course, God hate lying and we are warned time and again against it in His word.
