When we look at the world around us — saturated with hatred, deceit, and violence — we could nearly be driven into despair. But Psalm 36 stands as a powerful reminder that not all is lost. In this sermon, we walk through David’s sharp contrast between the profile of a wicked man who flatters himself and devises evil, and the breathtaking graciousness of God whose mercy reaches to the heavens, whose faithfulness extends to the clouds, and whose lovingkindness is so great that men find refuge under the shadow of His wings. We close with a prayer of hope — asking God for continued blessings, protection from evil, and the ultimate destruction of wickedness. If the world has you discouraged, this study will remind you that God rules and reigns.
