We cannot allow the world to dominate our life after we have given ourselves to the Lord. The world is contrary to the life of a Christian and holds no lasting value (1 John 2:15-17). It wants to steal our hearts and destroy the love of God. Thus, we must fortify ourselves against its allure and keep our focus on the Lord.
