What To Expect

A warm welcome

The members of the congregation love to meet visitors and warmly welcome them to our assemblies. You can expect to be greeted with kindness and genuine interest.

“Let all things be done decently and in order”
- 1 Corinthians 14:40

Bible Classes

In our main auditorium class, we study various books of the Bible and topics from a biblical perspective. The studies are orderly, but open to discussion. Questions are asked by the teacher and answers from multiple people is common.

Worship Services

Our worship assemblies are reverent and orderly. We are aware that as we gather we are in the presence of God and must show the respect due Him. During our Sunday service we follow the New Testament teaching and examples regarding worship that include:

  • Prayer (Acts 2:42; 1 Timothy 2:1-8)
  • Singing (Colossians 3:16; Ephesians 5:19)
  • The Lord’s Supper (1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Acts 20:7)
  • Collection from Members (1 Corinthians 16:1, 2)
  • Teaching (Acts 20:7; 2 Timothy 4:1-5)

For some people visiting one of our services will feel like going back to “old times” or what their grandparents did. In other words, it will feel like “church” used to be, not a modern-day entertainment production akin to a rock concert.

If you want to get back to the Bible, dig in to Scripture with us, learn and grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord, then you will feel at home with us (2 Peter 3:18).

Truth

Jesus stated God’s word is truth (John 17:17). It is objective and can be known (John 8:32). Since the truth is what sets us free, then it is something we ought to pursue and hold on to once we find it (Prov. 23:23). This lesson examines three points regarding truth: we must be determined to know it; we must be focused on it; we must be bold with it.
