What To Expect

A warm welcome

The members of the congregation love to meet visitors and warmly welcome them to our assemblies. You can expect to be greeted with kindness and genuine interest.

Bible Classes

In our main auditorium class, we study various books of the Bible and topics from a biblical perspective. The studies are orderly, but open to discussion. Questions are asked by the teacher and answers from multiple people is common.

Worship Services

Our worship assemblies are reverent and orderly. We are aware that as we gather we are in the presence of God and must show the respect due Him. During our Sunday service we follow the New Testament teaching and examples regarding worship that include:

  • Prayer (Acts 2:42; 1 Timothy 2:1-8)
  • Singing (Colossians 3:16; Ephesians 5:19)
  • The Lord’s Supper (1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Acts 20:7)
  • Collection from Members (1 Corinthians 16:1, 2)
  • Teaching (Acts 20:7; 2 Timothy 4:1-5)

For some people visiting one of our services will feel like going back to “old times” or what their grandparents did. In other words, it will feel like “church” used to be, not a modern-day entertainment production akin to a rock concert.

If you want to get back to the Bible, dig in to Scripture with us, learn and grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord, then you will feel at home with us (2 Peter 3:18).

The Pattern

This final sermon in our series from Exodus looks at the repeated statement about Moses doing all things according to the pattern. It is a principle laid out in the Law and resounding through the New Covenant as God expects us to do things the way He reveals. It is an issue of authority and respect for God, humility and trust in Him as the all-wise Creator.
