What To Expect

A warm welcome

The members of the congregation love to meet visitors and warmly welcome them to our assemblies. You can expect to be greeted with kindness and genuine interest.

“Let all things be done decently and in order”
- 1 Corinthians 14:40

Bible Classes

In our main auditorium class, we study various books of the Bible and topics from a biblical perspective. The studies are orderly, but open to discussion. Questions are asked by the teacher and answers from multiple people is common.

Worship Services

Our worship assemblies are reverent and orderly. We are aware that as we gather we are in the presence of God and must show the respect due Him. During our Sunday service we follow the New Testament teaching and examples regarding worship that include:

  • Prayer (Acts 2:42; 1 Timothy 2:1-8)
  • Singing (Colossians 3:16; Ephesians 5:19)
  • The Lord’s Supper (1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Acts 20:7)
  • Collection from Members (1 Corinthians 16:1, 2)
  • Teaching (Acts 20:7; 2 Timothy 4:1-5)

For some people visiting one of our services will feel like going back to “old times” or what their grandparents did. In other words, it will feel like “church” used to be, not a modern-day entertainment production akin to a rock concert.

If you want to get back to the Bible, dig in to Scripture with us, learn and grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord, then you will feel at home with us (2 Peter 3:18).

The Grieving King

What happens when our emotions overwhelm us and we are self-absorbed in them? In this study of 2 Samuel 19:1-8, we look at David’s devastating loss of his son Absalom and the fallout that followed. Though Absalom had led a coup against his own father, David was still shattered by his death — so consumed with sorrow that he shamed the very soldiers who had risked their lives to defend him. Joab’s sharp rebuke forced the king to face a hard truth: others are watching, and our conduct affects everyone around us. We explore what the Bible teaches about who is watching our lives — God, angels, Satan, fellow Christians, and our own families — and why self-examination matters. This lesson challenges us to consider what others see when life overwhelms us: faith and trust in God, or fear and self-absorption?
