We are different
The Newton church of Christ is not another trendy church seeking to outdo others with a highly-produced flashy "worship" service. We focus on the New Testament and the simple religion established by Jesus Christ.
We offer reverent assemblies where we search the Scriptures to learn God's will for us.
The LORD is great in Zion,
And He is high above all the peoples.

BEFORE THE THRONE OF GOD
When we assemble to worship we come before the Almighty God who is Holy. Our attitude and conduct must be reverent as the occasion is sacred. Our services reflect the honor due to the Lord, not man, and will enrich your soul as we draw nourishment from His living word.
If you love Me, keep My commandments.

WE ARE OPEN TO QUESTIONS
In our search for truth, we challenge ourselves... we examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith (2 Corinthians 13:5). We welcome you to question us as well. Ask the hard questions and we will do our best to answer with God's wisdom, giving you book, chapter, and verse. If we cannot, our prayer is we will change.
These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.

POWER IN THE WORD
Our aim is to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord (2 Peter 3:18). Consider the fact that the truth saves (James 1:21; Romans 1:16; 1 Peter 1:22). Hence, we spend time reading and discussing God's word, in context, to gain a deeper, richer understanding.
