This lesson picks up in 1 Thessalonians 1:8 with a short discussion about men turning from idols to the living God. We then move into 1 Thessalonians 2:1-12 as we consider Paul’s relationship to, and affection for, the saints at Thessalonica. He defended both his motivation and actions among the brethren and calls on them as witnesses to the facts.
