Jonah's story is far more than a man and a fish — it's a prophetic picture of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In this lesson, we compare and contrast Jonah and Jesus side by side: one rebelled, the other embraced God's will; one wanted his enemies destroyed, the other died to save them. We examine why Jesus pointed to Jonah as the one sign He would give an unbelieving generation, and why the resurrection demands our response today.
