Song of Songs is a beautiful picture of true love as God intended. Solomon and the Shulamite represent godly courtship and marriage in a wold full of sin. In the poetic story there is respect and admiration for one another, sexual intimacy is saved for marriage, and difficulties and differences are overcome with renewed passions.
