Calvinism (4): Imputed Righteousness

Jesus warned His disciples to beware of the leaven of error, the doctrines of men (Matt. 16:5-12). One application for us is to beware of the leaven of Calvinism. It has influenced brethren in the past and is making inroads today. This lesson focuses on the Calvinistic concept of “imputed righteousness” and its companion error of “imputed sin.” We study from Ezekiel 18 and Romans 5 to show the truth that neither sin nor righteousness is transferred from one person to another.
